Cycling in this part of Podravina and Bilogora will provide you with unforgettable moments visiting the sights and enjoying the nature of this region.

Marked bicycle paths will make it easier for you to find your way around the selected routes that lead you from our rural holiday home Villa Lipica through Bilogora to the nearby vineyards and wineries or towards the Drava river by passing the birthplace of Petar Prerodaović or the Zlatni Klas restaurant in Otrovanac. Arriving at the river Drava, you can visit the village of Križnica and the tourist center of Križnica, as well as the restaurants Dravska iža and Ribička klet, or just enjoy the untouched nature of the course of the river Drava.

Our 2 electric bicycles and 4 classic bicycles are available for all those interested, and in cooperation with the municipality of Pitomača we can provide up to 10 electric bicycles.

The Bilogora bicycle path, abbreviated as BBS red or “Across the Tower to Bukovica”, offers cyclists the ultimate cycling experience on an excellent MTB mountain bike path, which for the most part passes through the well-maintained forest roads of Bilogora, and partly along the lightly trafficked asphalted road next to the vineyards slopes of Bilogora. The route passes 1 km from the rural holiday house Villa Lipica, and leads to the second highest peak of Bilogora, Kula or Vis, located at 297 m above sea level, passing by the forest house “Babičanka”. On the 38th km, there is Kinkovo ​​and Hotel Mozart in Špišić Bukovica, and in Vukosavljevica you will find Vined Cellar, which offers top-quality wines, and has a wine tasting room and accommodation. There is also a Zlatni Klas restaurant, Otrovanec, on the route.

The Bilogora bicycle path, abbreviated as BBS Plavi or “From Vineda to Kula”, offers cyclists the experience of riding a bicycle on an excellent MTB mountain bike path, which for the most part passes through the well-maintained forest roads of Bilogora, and partly along the lightly trafficked asphalted road along the wine-growing slopes of Bilogora . The route passes 1 km from the rural holiday house Villa Lipica, and leads to the second highest peak of Bilogora, Kula or Vis, located at 297 m above sea level, passing by the forest house “Babičanka”. The start of the route itself is in Vukosavljevica near the Vined Winery, which offers top-quality wines, and has a wine tasting room and overnight accommodation. Near the route (2 km) there is also the restaurant Zlatni Klas, Otrovanec.

The Bilogora bicycle path, abbreviated as BBS zeleni or “Little Railway to Aršanje”, offers cyclists the ultimate cycling experience on a less demanding mountain bike path, which for the most part passes through well-maintained forest roads. The beginning of the trail is at the farm Zlatni klas Otrovanec. The facility offers accommodation and the preparation of meals from this region. At a distance of 7 km, there is a forest house “Babičanka” with a designated place to rest, and after that, a gentle climb of 1.2 km starts that takes us to the very peaks of Bilogora. The route through Kladarski breg, next to TIC Klopotec, leads to Pitomac breg Aršanje. Driving around Aršanje, we pass numerous interesting wineries and vineyards where the local population grows quality grapes and nurtures small-production wines for the needs of their company and friends, and the wineries are equipped with basic inventory for short stays and overnight stays. This route passes right under our rural holiday home Villa Lipica.

The cycling route “Podravina Sun” runs in a clockwise direction and starts from the center of Pitomača from King Tomislav Square. The route starts through the streets of the village and very quickly leaves the settlement in the part “Šašnato polje”, through which after 8 km we reach the part “Ban’s boat” and the scaffolding and bridge on the river Drava. At the mentioned locations, there is a rest area located next to the bridge itself, a suspended pedestrian bridge over the Drava River that takes us to the town of Križnica, which is 4 km from the route. If we cross the Drava by bridge or ferry, we will find ourselves in the village of Križnica, where we can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the old Drava, spend the night and try fish specialties in the restaurants Dravska iža and Ribička klet. Further on, the route takes us along the river Drava all the time, passing through the towns of Starogradački Marof, Okrugljača, Bušetina, and Vukosavljevica and the famous Vukosavljevic vineyards, where on the 34th km of the route there is a superb tourist facility “Podrum Vineda”, a tasting room and an overnight stay where tasting is offered top wines of this region. From Vineda, the route continues via Turnašica and along the wine-growing “Aršanj”, Sedlarica, Otrovanski breg, Velika Črešnjevica, it reaches Grabrovnica. In Grabrovnica, on the 44th km of the route, there is the birthplace of the great Croatian poet and Austrian general Petar Preradović. Driving this route is very interesting and travelogue, where we can get to know all the beauties of the Drava region, and we can also quickly and easily reach the Bilogora part, which is full of beautifully landscaped vineyards. The range of local dishes and drinks is offered in several top tourist facilities and offers cyclists the maximum pleasure of riding.

The circular MTB trail starts from TIC Klopotec along Bilogora forest roads to the area called Sedlo, where it joins the road Velika Črešnjevica – Velika Pisanica to the village of Bačkovica. In Bačkovica, it branches off towards the village of Bedenička and further to Ribnjačka, where there is the agrotourism “Na maleno brijegu”, which offers authentic cuisine and the possibility of horse riding. Further on, the route takes us towards the village of Kozarevac on an asphalted road to the Imbrišić cheese factory, which also offers a cheese tasting room. From Kozarvac via “Gorički” (vineyard next to Grabrovnica) and through Mala Črešnjevica, Velika Črešnjevica and Sedlarica we reach Aršanje and the road to Kladarsko breg and TIC Klopotec and Lipica where our rural holiday home Villa lipica is located.
